Eitan Tazazo · Quiet Leadership

Leadership doesn’t have to be loud.
It has to be grounded.

A personal journey from Ethiopia to Israel, shaped by service, resilience, education and choice — and turned into a practical approach to leading yourself and influencing others.

A little about me

I work with people at moments that matter.

Before the titles and roles, I’m a person who believes deeply in people.

For years, I’ve worked with young people and adults at the moments when they need to make a choice, understand who they are, and decide how they want to move forward.

I’m an educator, speaker, coach and facilitator. My work brings together identity, belonging, resilience, responsibility and influence.

The story behind the framework

A journey that became a way of seeing leadership.

At nine years old, I left Ethiopia with my family and made the journey to Israel through Sudan. What began as a physical journey became a lifelong exploration of identity, belonging, choice, responsibility and impact.

Who am I when everything around me changes?
What do I carry with me from home and from my roots?
How do I belong without erasing who I am?
How do I make a clear choice when pressure is everywhere?
Quiet Leadership isn’t something I learned to teach. It’s something I learned to live.

Service, responsibility and purpose

Sometimes purpose calls you back.

On October 7, 2023, I put on my uniform again after 21 years of military service. Since then, more than a thousand days of reserve duty have reshaped the way I think about leadership, responsibility and what it means to show up for others.

1,000+ days of reserve duty

Alongside reserve service, I continued facilitating workshops and talks on mental resilience, healthy relationships, personal growth and the transition from military service into civilian life.

A pause in service gave me space to look again at the journey from Ethiopia to Sudan and then Israel — and to understand that my next chapter of service would be through education, conversation and helping others build inner strength.

My sense of service didn’t end when I took off the uniform. It simply took on a new form.

What is Quiet Leadership?

Leadership begins before anyone follows you.

It begins with the way you manage yourself, understand your values, make choices under pressure and meet the person in front of you.

01

Presence

Pause before reacting.

02

Awareness

Know what matters to you and why.

03

Identity & Boundaries

Stay connected to your values without losing yourself in the room.

04

Direction

Know where you want to go — and choose the first step.

05

Influence

Lead in a way that others can feel, not just hear.

Inspiration isn’t the goal. It’s the outcome.

From the field

Not just ideas. Real work with real people.

Talks, workshops, communities and teams — in places where leadership, resilience and human connection are tested in real life.
